  CSUF                  3 Runs   5 Hits   1 Error
  STANFORD        5 Runs   8 Hits   1 Error

This was the PROGRAM substituted for scheduled CRAFT TALKS

Following the Protocol Preliminaries, the baseball devotees descended on the salad bar and then retired to the Elks Lounge to cheer on the TITANS as televised from Omaha. Victory was not to be for the locals.  So, the TITANS have a way to go and "It ain't over till it's over". The TITANS are still in the running. Only they need more runs. They're 2-1 in the semi-finals.

Following the Pledge with duo songsters Jim Young and Howard Wood  setting the scene with "Take Me Out To the Ball Game", the "Thought for the Day" by Tom Meyer  reflected on Fathers' Day with some husband and wife banter, viz.,

When a wife greets you with "Put up you feet on the couch. Here's a nice drink.  Relax", she really means, "I charged something expensive at Nordstroms"

All men see in only 16 colors like Windows default settlings.  "Peach, for example, is a fruit.  Pumpkin is also a fruit. WE have no idea what mauve is."

A father tells his women folk, "When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is fine. Really."

Prez Oates, conducting his last meeting was in his free wheeling best.  He recognized FOUR Club Rotarians into the Royal Order of Recognition Masters and bestowed upon them the "Order of Rotarian of the Week, First Class": (He sounded like Pres. Clinton pardoning everyone in sight before going out of office.) Jim Williams, Carolyn Tormey, Dan Kiernan, Jim Blackburn.

Paul Dudley introduced the visitors and guests from near and far:
