CHIEF PAT introduced JIM WREN who is now his Administrative Analyst for the Fullerton PD. He followed football as a star athlete and outstanding record setting punter from Pop Warner through Esperanza High School to Fullerton College and on to the University of Southern California. He emphasized the importance of "staying the course" regardless of setbacks in athletics. The competition is very tough. During his USC years, he was chosen to play in post season Shrine Games. The only problem he had was figuring out that the guys wearing "fez" were not field referees. Jim gave some insight on the problem some athletes have with steroids. At the FPD he is the connection between Admin and Operational branches of a law enforcement community. CHIEF PAT is happy to have him in the Department. |
