ROTARY   HONORS   OUR   FULLERTON   SENIORS

ALAN ATWELL , MARK MCGEE and DON LUDWIG greeted 100 seniors and their staff attendants to the annual Christmas Party hosted at the Elks Lodge by our Club. Through the assistance and bus equipment from the Fullerton School District the guests were transported to and from the luncheon. All were in place at tables punctually at 1200 in time for Prez PELOQUIN to offer words of welcome. Serving began immediately by 51 Rotarians.

ALAN pointed out that among the Rotary dignitary hosts serving at the tables were 3 mayors and former mayors, a police chief, 4 college professors, 2 YMCA/YWCA directors , two drama producers, assorted engineers, realtors, educators , accountants and business executives including 3 lawyers. Oh, yes -- 1 auto body and chassis repair specialist. No ministers were in attendance.

ALAN ATWELL admonished the quests not to offer tips to the waiters. Any Rotarian seen soliciting gratuities should be brought to the attention of Pres PELOQUIN and subject to a Club fine. Same if any Rotarian with "Insurance Broker" or "Realtor"on his or her identity badge appears over-solicitous.

MUSICAL CHRISTMAS ENTERTAINMENT was provided for the 13th year by Mrs. Clara Turner and her Parks Junior High School Bell Chimes Choir and the Vocal Choir. Known for their excellence at all levels of vocal and instrumental proficiency, we are indeed privileged to have them each year. The senior audience is most appreciative. BZ Parks !!

Santa Claus closed out the program with gifts to all the seniors. The gifts were made by the students of Parks Junior High School.
