President Elect/elect Bill Mathy introduced visiting Rotarians including
Lewis Argano of the State of Washington. Lewis is a very senior active, who comes to visit us every year. He has a Rotary Perfect Attendance record that has lasted 58 years. At the relatively young age of 97, Lewis will likely exceed 60 years of perfect attendance, thereby "beating out " Dave Bates.
Char Dufresne-Dyess, chair of this year's event, introduced the Vocal Ensemble from Fullerton Union HS, who beautifully began the program. These 20+ students provided accompanied as well as a cappella music from several centuries and included texts in English, Latin , Hebrew and Spanish. They did not shy from challenging material and provided a warm and impressive program. Their principal, Dr. Greg Franklin was justly proud of these songters.
Char and her assistants had provided special center pieces (later donated to the youngest person at each table), candy canes galore and other good stuff. Bob Jahncke brought and set up his electric train and made digital photos as well.
In honor of the giving that typifies Christmas and Hanukkah- several members donated generously in honor of important days in their lives.

Same place same time but fellowship and story telling will be the program along with the Annual Irish Coffee. The latter can be equally well enjoyed by persons of most faiths and nationalities, i.e. one does not have to Irish. Substitute beverages will be available for those whose religion, physician or spouse prohibit even medicinal portions of alcohol.
