Sunny Crest Chalet hosted our annual Senior Christmas Program this year, kindly offered to us by our own David Slomovic, who owns the senior care facility. The Ebell Club has sold the venue we have traditionally used for the past several years.

Joining the festivities were residents from Gordon Lane, Fullerton Healthcare, Acacia Villa and Cambridge Court. After they disembarked from the school buses, they were serenaded by the Fullerton Brass Ensemble, arranged for us by Bob Radde. Zoot Velasco served as our Master of Ceremonies, Collette’s provided the tasty food, and a special visit by none other than Santa, played by (spoiler alert!) Bob Clarke, Jr., Vocal stylings were provide by Parks Jr. High choir, let by Melissa Martinez. Gift Christmas socks were provided to the guests.

This was a hands-on event with Rotarians helping with set up, decorating, clean up as well as assisting our guests off and back on the busses.

Many “Thank-Yous” were heard from our guests as they departed, thanking the Rotarians who helped spread Christmas cheer to the 50 guests and caregivers who joined us.
