Greg Hickman led us in “Let there be peace on earth”, a very appropriate song this day and age.

Tom Meyer was the fine master and did his usual best to penalize all involved. Some were penalized by fines others by having to listen to bad jokes. Most say pay the money!
Birthdays included; Kevin Choi, Dan Kang, Joe Lins, Phil Silverman, Bill Mathy, Kathy Schneider, Dick Mathewson, and Diane Masseth-Jones. To make it a happier birthday, the dreaded fine master let them off the hook and fined the person to their left.
Anniversaries included; Scott Dowds married 37 years, Griff Duncan 55 years, and Jay Kremer married 60 years, yes that’s right. 60! Congrats to all especially the saints they are married to..
Rick Crane was fined for always putting up the “Loser” sign whenever Tom spoke. Rick was glad to pay the fine out of principle. You know what they say, if the “Shoe fits”..
Bob Hathaway was allowed to talk about his grandson “Dominic” who is a scholar athlete at Troy HS where he plays football. He is being looked at by several colleges. Way to go!.
Dan Kiernan was fined out of General Principle. Probably because of his east coast accent, but because that is illegal, it must be something else..
Duane Greenleaf had the lucky ticket but was unable to draw the winning blue chip, if there is such a thing in the Presidents bag?
The program for the day was two craft talks.
The first was by Tony Fabelo. Tony is a banker by trade and has been doing that for over 30 years. He has roots in Cuba. Tony’s grandfather and father came to this country when Castro came to power. Tony was born in LA and raised in Glendale. He played football in HS and later joined the Army National Guard
The second was by Dick Mathewson. Dick worked for Kroeger Corporation by trade as a meat buyer, meat department educator, and later worked in Real Estate. Dick was offered to be part of the NFL draft in 1952 but declined because it was not as much money as working for Kroeger. Dick has been retired for 12 years. His family roots are actually traced back to the Mayflower. He graduated from Cornell with a degree in Agriculture, which led to his working with Kroeger. Dick was also in the Army where he worked with guided missiles.
That’s all for now.
