Finemaster – Bob Hillhouse:
Well, we went very retro today and picked up fines from Louis Kuntz for Barbara’s birthday on the 26th, Dan Kiernan was fined 2,3, no $4 for being the “King of Insults”, Jim Young was fined for Dottie’s birthday on the 28th, George Giokaris paid a whopping $5 fine because his plans for Nancy’s birthday on the 2nd are very private. Bob then went on to a historical tangent about leap year and who first put it into our calendar. Everyone sitting at Kevin Flye’s table got to put in $1 because he supplied the correct answer. Scott Dowds was then fined for being a smart aleck and finally the absolutely wrong table was fined $2.00 each for not knowing Hank Aaron’s salary in 1972 ($200,000).

Dick Daybell, assisted by Don Bankhead correctly answered the question today by picking Nuns out of a line-up of shady characters as perpetrators of grand larceny. It turns out that they were NOT GUILTY of the crime as they were a figment of Zoot Velasco’s imagination. This begs the question, “Zoot why are you dreaming of Nuns and their habits?”
Program:
What a greatly reassuring program we had today from Superintendant George Giokaris, President Bob Hathaway, Principal Cathy Gach and Principal Judy Fancher regarding the state of our High Schools in Fullerton. In spite of the budges fiscal crisis, Sunnyhills and Troy are continuing with their success in providing well rounded educations to their kids. We did learn in Cathy’s and Judy’s presentations that FHS students can walk on water and SHHS students can launch rockets in to space. Go Lancers and Indians!
Scott in closing quoted Ronald Reagan, “Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.”
