Program Today we heard very interesting and cordial craft talks from two new members to our club.
First George Giokaris described his long (if local) career in education administration that led to his 34-year ascension to Superintendent of the Fullerton Joint Union High School District. George has two children and has been married to his wife Nancy for 31 years. George made comment about how little he does, but from the records he presented about the effectivenss of our High Schools, his office is obviously doing something right! John Derry is the new president of Hope International University. He was born on Halloween in 1950 in rural Illinois. He attended Lincoln Christian College in Lincoln, Illinois and immediately after graduation he began preaching in his hometown church augmenting his salary by doing tax returns for local citizens. During Graduate School at Milligan College he started a Campus Ministry and was the director there for 13 years. Later he took a job at a college in Dallas, Texas as Vice-president did for 13 more years. Both his children attended Milligan College. His daughter is a teacher in Tennessee and his son, who holds a doctorate in both medicine and law is a consultant in Chicago. John recently succeeded Leroy Fulton as President of Hope International University. He and his wife Jane have been married for 34 years. Upcoming Events: Mar 26th Track Meet - 8:30 am at Fullerton College Track - See Mike Oates
