Thad Sandford gave an announcement about the Rotary magazine which mentions recent concern on water pollution, and how relavant this is to Fullerton now.
Ric Crane announced that the upcoming track meet is March 12 2022 please save the date.
There is an upcoming Rotary Club Halloween party on Wednesday Oct 27th. 5pm-7:30pm the twisted vine 127 West Commonwealth ave. Fullerton CA. This will be in lieu of our regular lunch meeting. So no lunch meeting this Wednesday Oct 27th. Please RSVP before 10/22/2021 liesliemccarthy23@gmail.com. Or 714-984-5497 there will also be a costume contest.
Jim Williams announced that our past president Joe Arnold will be presented with the James Young Arts legacy award on Nov 4th 2021. Congratulations Joe on this outstanding and well deserved achievement!

Today’s recognition master is our upcoming president Joe Lins.
Randy was fined $5 for his wimpy joke earlier. Johnny Hong was fined $5 to officially induct him as our newest member. Cathy Gach was fined $3.73 for her husband’s upcoming birthday. Joanne Brannock. was fined $400 if she does not rejoin our club and is fine free if she decides to come back officially.

Our guest speaker today is the exciting Dr. Barbara Stone! Dr. Stone gave an exciting view on our current political climate including topics on the latest recall of Gavin Newsom. She also talked about the upcoming election.To thank her for being our speaker today. Zoot gave Barbara 50 shares of Fullerton Stock which will be donated on her behalf to the non-profits of our city. She was also awarded the agent of change token.
Zoot closed the meeting today with the quote from Will Rogers “ Live in such a way that you will not be afraid to sell your parrot to the town gossip”
