Today’s meeting was called to order at 12:25 by our President Dan Ouweleen with the bell, pledge followed by prayer, and song ably administered by Judy Atwell, Duane Greenleaf and Griff Duncan respectively. Thank you!
President Dan used executive privilege to share some announcements about our members: Jay Kremer fractured his hip and has removed his name from consideration for President Elect. Since we need to select another President Elect, that will happen on Oct 11,,2016. Dan will send out requirements for eligibility. We are 1 month away from Jog-a-thon.
WELCOME Guests were introduced by Duane Greenleaf and included Ian Hicks visiting from Yorba Linda Sunrise, Ray Sanford District Governor, Lucy Waltter DGEN, Michael Williams with our Rypen Group, Travis McShane who is a prospective member.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Sandy Hayes announced the Fellowship lunches and encouraged everyone to sign up.
Dan Kiernan announced the Boys & Girls Fund Raiser Auction / Dinner Party that is coming up a week from Saturday (October 8) and asked for support.
Vern Andrews announced that the Foundation need suggestions for potential recipients, deadline October 19.
Dan Ouweleen spoke about the District Volunteer Leadership Awards luncheon that are coming up on Oct 14 and encourage all of the member to recommend community leaders to attend.
