Deeply regret the passing of fellow Rotarian Wally Bartlet.  A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday May 17th from 2pm-5pm at the Fullerton Elks Club. A time to share Wally ON HIS BIRTHDAY.

Invocation lead by John Derry: a very special prayer for Wally Bartlet and his family.

Songs lead by Leroy Fulton: a great version of “Viva la Rotary” and smile.

    • This group did not pay any fines.  Instead Bob fined the person sitting next to them.  Watch who you sit next to!

    Raffle

    Tony Amato chose Bill Mathy to help him answer a T.V. trivia question on the Andy Griffith Show.  “Who was the town drunk?”  They missed it.  The answer is, Otis Campbell.

  • Proposed New Member: Louis Kuntz, who is proposed by Dick Jones; His classification is Automobile Parts Supply (Retired).

  • Jay Kremer introduced Tom Haight, former police officer and great underwater photographer.  Tom grew up in Philadelphia and came to California when he joined the Navy.  He became a medic and did a tour in Vietnam.  Tom’s program was on “underwater critters.”  Tom has dived in many exotic areas all over the world.  Pictures today were of California’s underwater critters.  There were pictures of:

    • Elephant seal that weighed 6,000 lbs
    • Girabladi fish very beautiful
    • Blue shark
    • Dolphins
    • Grunion
    • Hermit crab
    • Lobsters
    • Crabs
    • Scallops
    • Sheep head
    • Octopus
    • Sand dollars
    • Green sea turtle
    • Sea stars
    • Seals
    • Black sea bass
    • And a special tape of the very rare megamouth shark weighing 2,000 lbs and is 14' long.

    This was a tremendous program.  A special thanks to Tom.
