Following tradition, in lieu of our regular meeting, our club converged at the Ebell Club where we hosted about 80 residents of local convalescent homes at our annual “Senior Holiday lunch”.

Don Ludwig played Christmas tunes on the piano as guests arrived and then event organizer Mike McGee welcomed everyone and Howard Wood led us in a couple Christmas carols, the Parks Junior High School bell choir serenaded the guests as Rotarians brought them lunch and dessert. The residents of Acacia, Evergreen and Gordon Lane Convalescent Homes were transported by busses to and from the venue. Gift bags were given to each of them as were photos of them posing with Santa Claus. (Thanks to Julianne Haynes, Bob Jahncke and Jim McKamy)
