President Terri pledged our assistance with their Clubs.

2)    A Great Craft talk by Dr.Pat Frank! [The following written with sincere apologies if there are errors in the story… there were no errors in this fine craft talk!] Pat was born in 1947 (“for this group, I’m YOUNG!”). Her Dad had dreams of her being a movie star, her Mom just wanted her to be smart! She was born in Florida. Dad & Mom divorced when she was 7. Her mom remarried when Pat was 9; she lived in Chicago most of her life. She moved to Long Beach, California at 12 and graduated High School in 1965-with a 1964 Mustang!!! Can you imagine that!!?!  Her parents went to Palm Springs… Pat went to school…for 3 weeks and quit. It just wasn’t for her at the time. She went back to school at the tender age of 28. At the age of 23 she married-started teaching Office Machines. Age 27, her first child came along, at 28, she was divorced. She went back to school and received her degrees: Bachelors, Masters and her Doctorate!! Very impressive, eh? She stated, “I’ve been in school all my life!”

Her hobbies: walking, dancing and collects Retro-Jewelry, painting porcelain, shopping and is a former member of the Industry Hills Rotary Club. Pat finished her talk with the great, glad, glorious announcement: “This is my last chore of the newest 9!”

President Terri thanked all the visitors and guests for joining us and gave a Closing Thought by Tom Stoppard: “Every exit is an entry into somewhere else.”

Meeting Adjourned! See you next week!!!!
