Recognition:
* Prez Terri recognized Ray Hansen for all the exceptional work he has done in Rotary and in the community.
* Terri read an email from Kirsten and Inge, Danish friends of Les and Nancy Christiansen, stating that the Christiansens are their best American friends and meeting them was the best Rotary experience they have ever had. They were guests of Les and Nancy in 1997 as incoming DG’s and they have been in touch every fortnight since their meeting. Kirsten knew Les was going to speak at our Rotary meeting on 11-22-06 and even though they are good friends he wanted to be sure that Les would be fined for his speech. The Danish friends also said “hello” to Jim and Dottie Young. Kirstren gave a talk at our club in 2001.

Program: Leroy Fulton, Les Christiansen, Bernie Dunlap, Nate Kvetny and Maryalyce Jeremiah gave the most impressive, touching presentations I have ever heard at Thanksgiving time. Their responses to “What I Am Thankful For” were truly from the heart. Blessings to be thankful for ranged from living in the U.S., the land of opportunity; having good friends; receiving unconditional love; to the joy of being a dad, You had to be there to receive the full impact and appreciation of these exceptional presentations. They were GREAT!
President Terri closed our meeting with a clever saying that I missed. Sorry, Terri!
