Guest Speaker – Wolfgang “The Wolfman” Knabe, Chief, Fullerton Fire Department and Fellow Rotarian

Introduced by Dick Jones.

Spoke about Disaster Readiness and Preparedness Planning and how he has been developing Fullerton’s own comprehensive plan.

Natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, tornados, wildfires, and mudslides—we  must be prepared for at all times.  We are also under a constant threat of terrorism and should have an individual and family post disaster recovery plan in place.

While there is little we can do to prevent these disasters from occurring, there is a great deal man can do to improve his chances of surviving, and that can be summed up in one word: PREPARATION!

To learn more about disaster preparedness, please visit the City of Fullerton’s website at www.ci.fullerton.ca.us.

We are thankful to have “The Wolfman” as our Fire Chief.  With his many years of experience and training, we are in good hands.

Proposed new Member: Rebecca Havert, OC Boy Scouts District Executive, proposed by Lee Brockett
