Bob Savage: Thanked Rick Crane for organizing the Cal State Fullerton Titan baseball game on Sunday, April 17th .

Sunny Hills High School Top 100 Banquet on May 12.

Fullerton High School Top 100 Banquet on May 26.

Theresa Harvey: Volunteers needed for the Taste of Fullerton on May 20-22. Performances will include: John Waite, Ambrosia, and Edgar Winter.

Educator of the Year Luncheon on Friday, April 29 at Summit House. Lynn Daucher will be the speaker.

Bill Klinghofer: West Coast Walk by Nathan Auerbach from the Coto De Caza/Rar Santa Margarita Rotary Club will walk 2,200 miles from Tijuana to Sacramento in 100 walking days beginning the first week of May in order to raise $1 million to meet Rotary’s goal to eradicate polio. Donations are welcome.

Jim McKamy: The District will be hosting a No Limit Texas Hold Em Poker Tournament on Friday, May 19th at the Yorba Linda Community Center. Those interested in forming a team, contact Jim.

Bob Jahncke: Boys & Girls Clubs of Fullerton will be having a brunch at the La Vie En Rose Restaurant on Sunday, May 1. $100 with all proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Fullerton. Contact Bob.

Fined John Phelps since his wife was lucky enough to win a TV from McCoy Mills Ford and Al Tetrault was also fined for the advertising of McCoy Mills.

Joe Lins’ fines from last week were rescinded since he was a guest speaker for his craft talk.

Al Tetrault won the weekly raffle. However, missed the question which was “What branch of the armed services was 50 soldiers strong at the beginning of World War I? Answer: United States Air Force.

Mike Oates introduced the participants of the 15th Annual Fullerton Track Meet. This event has been active for 15 years, and has grown to over 300 athletes!

Troy HS-Coach Burton introduced Haley Hernandez and Tahall Kahn.

Fullerton HS-Coach Nordstrom introduced Angie Garcia and Michael Hicks.

Sunny Hills HS-Coach Abbott introduced Sam Wheeler and Dulcia.

George Geokaris stated that there are over 1,100 high schools in California and only 100 high schools are recognized as Distinguished High Schools. Fullerton, Sunny Hills and Troy were included with this distinction.
