Dennis Ullrich hosted today meeting in the new, beautiful and state-of-the-art Hydroflow facility in east Fullerton . Mark Geiss introduced guests who included Rob Jahncke (son of Bob) and Rich Dutch (friend of Ray Hansen). Visiting Rotarians included many new South Korean Rotarians from Yongin City, District 3600 (Korea). ANNOUNCEMENTS: Jim Young announced that he and Paul Harris had visited Kansas City, Mo. And returned with a $500 donation to the Rotary Foundation. Thank You, Jim for your generosity. Fullerton Sunrise Rotary has a Fundraiser on May 22 at Dave & Busters. Pat House announced the annual Motor Car Festival at the Muckenthaller coming soon. Cathy Gach announced a $10 raffle for a big screen TV to benefit the Fullerton High School Instrumental Music Program. ROTARIAN OF THE WEEK: Prez Bill bestowed Rotarian of the Week honors on Robert Jahncke for his many stellar qualities including Club Secretary and Web-master duties.

RECOGNITIONS: Jim McKamy presided and recognized Julie Kemp for her upcoming birthday; Jo Mc Auley (Bill’s Birthday); John Phelps (Anniversary); and belated Anniversary recognition to Don and Carol Bankhead. Special Siter City / Rotary Club Ceremony Daniel Kang and Mike Oates introduced the President, Vice-President, and President–Elect, Committee chairman, and several Members of the Yongin City Shingal Rotary Club. Chairman Jo, Seong Gyu and Fullerton Rotary President William Mathy adjourned to the ceremonial signing table and endorsed a Memorandum of Agreement between the two clubs. After the formal signing ceremony the Koreans president the club with a regal sounding brass Gong as well as plethora traditional Korean musical instruments (that were aptly demonstrated by Daniel Kang). Small gifts of traditional Korean masks were distributed by Yongin City Rotarians to each Fullerton Rotarian in attendance. President Bill commemorated the event by presenting a beautiful Fullerton Rotary Clock to the Korean Club President. Following the Signing Ceremony, (and desert), we were escorted trough the Hydroflow factory to witness firsthand the magnificent new factory, and the operations taking place therein.
