Program

Dr. Jim Young

Dr. Jim Young delivered the program today. (which was no small fete considering that he sat by himself at the program table at ate three desserts and drank a half gallon of Ice tea!!)

Jim talked about the CLE (Continuing Learning Experience) program at Cal State Fullerton.  In particular he talked about a study group that he leads called Poetry for Pleasure.  Jim read several poems written by past class members and finished his program by reciting “Casey at the Bat”.

Prez Joyce closed the meeting with the thought:  You can’t do a kindness too soon for you never know when it will be too late.
