Memorandum of Agreement

       For the Sister Clubs of Rotary International, this agreement has been concluded between the Shingal Rotary Club of Yongin City, Republic of Korea, District 3600 and the Rotary Club of Fullerton, California, U.S.A. District 5320 in accordance with the decision of the boards of directors and support of all members of both Clubs, this agreement is as follows:

Purpose

       It is our aim to promote friendly relations and mutual understanding between the United States and the Republic of Korea and to use our joint efforts for the prosperity of both nations and to the greater good of Rotary International.

Mutual Agreement

1.) Both Clubs will exchange bulletins, membership lists, and other publications for the achievement of our stated purpose.
2.) The Clubs mutually agree to exchange information related to various activities and other events deemed interesting to either Club.
3.) Whenever members of each Club visit the other city, they will make every possible effort to attend the regular meeting of the Sister Club, and return to their home Club, will report at a regular Club meeting.
4.) Each Club will attempt to exchange formal visits whenever possible with timely planning and agreed upon times.
5.) Whenever members visit the Sister Club, they will pledge their best efforts to offer convenience and assistance and maintain the highest standards of conduct and friendship.
6.) Both Sister Clubs will report the conclusion of this Sister Club Agreement to their respective Governors.

Expenses

       Both Clubs will support their own expenses when visiting the other Club and schedules of visits will be discussed in detail as necessary.

Terms of Agreement

       Four years June 1, 2004 to May 31, 2008. Prior to the expiration, both Clubs will discuss the re-establishment of this Sister Club agreement.

       In recognition of this Sister Club relationship, each Club shall endeavor to keep its members conscious about this commitment and observe the anniversary of the executions of this agreement by presenting an appropriate program at the first regular meeting in June of each year.

       This agreement shall be written in both Korean and English, signed by both Presidents and kept on file by both Sister Clubs.
