Russian Student Looking for Work in Southern California

Letter from Ken Kaisch:

Hi Robert,

Here is the letter I received from Sergey, Alosha's son. As you recall, Alosha was my transelator when I was teaching at the Russian School of Christian Psychology, in Moscow several years ago

Sergey is a great English speaker, about 21 or 22 yrs old, and it sounds like he is willing to do just about anything -- legal that is! And he does have his papers and a work permit. Soooo, any help you can give in getting the word out would be appreciated.

Let me know if you need more info.

Warm regards,

Ken

Dear Ken,

I'm planning to come to the States this summer as a participant in "Work&Travel" program. And I'm currently looking for an employer. My supervisor told me that it would be best to go to some place where I might have any connections, and thinking of these - you were the first in my mind. Besides, going to LA sounds great too. For this to come true I need somebody who is interested in hiring a Moscow State University student for a couple of months this summer. It might be a job of any kind: a waiter, a babysitter, shop assistant, lawnmower, etc. It's not the matter of making money, so it just has to make me a living plus a couple of bucks to have some fun. As to my skills, I have a good knowledge of English, I'm good with computers, I'm studying sociology/management, I'm in a good physical shape (lost 40 kilos since we last met), and most probably I will also have my driver's license by that time. I'm going to have a work permit, so it's 100% legal. If you can think of anybody who may be interested, please let me know. One thing is that I'm pretty short of time, so the sooner you drop me a note - the better.
